Creating a Graphic Novel Summary of "The Crucible"

In this project, students will define 'graphic novel' and articulate its elements in their own terms. Working in pairs, they will analyze "The Crucible," breaking the narrative into key acts and events, to create an 8-box graphic novel summary. Students will decide on roles and responsibilities to effectively collaborate and use creative visuals alongside text to convey the essence of the play. The completed graphic novel is due on Monday, January 14, 2013.
