Dual Credit Challenges • All faculty and dual credit teachers of general education or other non-occupational courses to have: • Masters degree or higher in discipline or • Any masters degree plus 18 graduate hours in the discipline • Not enough high school teachers possess these qualifications • Approximately 43,000 dual credit students are being taught by teachers who do not have a masters degree with 18 hours in the content area Our Communities.
