The Engineers Without Borders Treasure Valley Professionals Chapter, led by Sharon Karlesky, P.E., has been active since 2005 with approximately 25 members. We focus on sustainable water solutions in Guayaquil, Ecuador, including water filtration systems and in-home treatments using clay pots infused with colloidal silver. Partnering with local organizations, we aim to create viable business enterprises while addressing the challenges of resource limitedness and lack of education. We welcome new members, donations, and corporate sponsorships to further our mission of bringing safe water access to underserved communities.
