Allied Metro Medical Choose an Allied partnership. • Allied is the most experienced and the largest provider of high quality lithotripsy services in the metropolitan area. • Allied provides state-of-the-art equipment with no capital cost to the hospital. • Allied provides specialized lithotripsy technologists certified by the American Lithotripsy Society. • Allied provides assistance with forms, patient education, public information, and community relations.

7. Allied Metro Medical Allied will provide: • a state-of-the-art transportable lithotripter to the institution’s procedure room on designated days • a Certified Renal Lithotripsy Specialist (CRLS) to assist the urologist operating the lithotripter • all disposables for the machine

8. Allied Metro Medical • If preferred, Allied will perform all patient scheduling with full billing information provided to the institution. • Allied will assist the institution in developing medical guidelines, protocols, discharge instructions, and related documents. • Allied will provide in-service education for training the institution’s clinical staff regarding lithotripsy.

9. Allied Metro Medical The institution will provide: • suitable procedure, O.R., or cysto room • nursing, anesthesia, and recovery room services and supplies • access for delivery of litho equipment

10. Allied Metro Medical All patients will be patients of the institution. • The institution will provide its usual surgical patient registration and PAT services. • All urologists performing procedures will be on staff at the institution.

11. Allied Metro Medical Financial Information • Our rates are competitive and can be negotiated at a mutually convenient time. • The institution will bill directly to Medicare and third party payors for Lithotripsy Services. • Urologists and anesthesiologists will bill fee-for-service directly to Medicare and third party payors for Professional (Treatment) Services.
