All bits to the left stay the same; all bits to the right go to 0. • 1st Assignable Address • Add 1 to the last (4th) decimal of the Network ID. • Last Assignable Address • Subtract 1 from the last (4th) decimal of the Broadcast. • Last IP Address (Broadcast) • Find the nth bit in the IP address. All bits to the left stay the same; all bits to the right go to 1. • Number of Devices • 2(32-n)– 2 = use calculator.
