The Texas Success Initiative Assessment (TSIA) is designed to evaluate if students are ready for college-level courses in Texas. Replacing the ACCUPLACER and THEA in September 2013, it assesses students in Reading, Math, and Writing. All incoming public college students must take the TSIA unless exempted. Preparation includes a mandatory Pre-Assessment Activity, which provides insights and is required to sit the test. Students must bring a certificate of completion, payment, and a photo ID on test day. Explore relevant websites for effective study tools.
