Today’s Objective: BIO.3a

Today’s objective is to explore the nature and interactions of atoms, including their composition and chemical reactions. We will review the states of matter—solid, liquid, and gas—along with atomic structure, focusing on protons, neutrons, and the electron cloud. Additionally, we will discuss mixtures and their separation by physical and chemical means, as well as how atoms bond to form molecules through covalent and ionic bonds. We will also examine the properties of water, including polarity and pH, and their significance for living organisms.
