This is made possible by the generosity of the sponsors who advertise on this site. Perhaps even greater is the investment your donated rice makes in hungry human beings, enabling them to function and be productive.   4. How Freerice and Empty Bowl connect Both Free Rice and Empty Bowl aim to alleviate and eventually end world hunger. Free Rice is an excellent way to not only benefit those in need of food, but to benefit those who play the free rice games. Combining education and service is the pillar on which Chautauqua stands, so it is only natural to unite the two causes.
