  4. The Extent of Water Shortage (2) Negotiations on redistribution of natural water resources are legitimate but not a solution. The only solution is a cooperation on production of new water resources.

The Projection on Regional Relationship and Solutions (1) • Israel acts by virtue of the following agreements: • -Peace Treaty – Jordan and Israel (26 Oct. 1994) • -Interim Agreement – Palestinians and Israel • (28 Sept. 1995) • Water is an integral part of the agreement like other issues, such as security, borders , etc.

  15. The Projection on Regional Relationship and Solutions (2) • Bilateral activities (JWC, JTC, JSET’s). • Multilateral activities. • Water shortage forces the parties to bring the water supply issue out of the conflict.

  16. Towards the Future… • Sharing knowledge and experience in water resources management. • Continuous search for mutual creative solutions of additional water resources. • Implementation of new water resources with the assistance of donor countries.
