  2. By rotating the object on its axis or by drilling, sanding, cutting, or formation with tool the lathe machine tool shapes an object. Generally a lathe machine has many parts and is used to give shape to work pieces. Most of them are back gear level, feed service lever, head stock, compound rest, tool post, half nut lever, clutch knob and saddle.

  3. Each and every part of the Lathes performs very complicated functions and is very important. Turner is the person who operates the machine. To do a great job which demands huge level of attention it fully depends on the experienced turner.

  4. Used for metal working, wood working, metal spinning, glass working, shaping, ornamental turning, watchmaking & rotary, there are different types of lathe machines. For specific function, every type of lathe is used. For example, wood working ones are used in a carpentry workshop while metal working lathes are used in a steel workshop. To shape different objects, a Lathe machine can be used. Besides, by making specific thread a solid round bar can be shaped to a bolt. Where it's hard in the general drilling machine, it can be used for complicated drilling and by setting degrees it can drill at specific angles. The Bandsaws are also very useful tools.

  5. Used to make holes inside an object, boring is the function of lathe machine. By using sharp tools it can easily cut 6 inches of hole. Like diamond cutting tool & M.S. cutting tool, there are two types of tools mostly used for cutting solid material.

  6. For fine tuning an object, these two kinds of tools are used. The lathe object is an alloy which is formed by adding some materials to harden it and is used to sharpen. Since 1300(B.C) to the present lathing concept has been formed. Especially in carpentry works, mechanical works, steel fabrication and glass works, it had evolved for different functions during this time. Its contribution has been very essential at many places.
