Plant Sampling for 2,4-D Residues

This report presents the findings from a study conducted on 2,4-D residues in plant samples collected from knapweed control areas in the Forks of Salmon River. The research, carried out by Heather Casjens and Kean S. Goh from the Department of Pesticide Regulation, was finalized on February 14, 2001. Notably, the analysis of Oregon grape roots and deerbrush (Ceanothus) revealed no detectable residues of 2,4-D, indicating effective control measures in place and minimal chemical impact on these plants.
