First Kayaking Adventure of the Year at Munger & Bear Lakes

On Monday, May 28, our group had its first kayaking outing at Munger & Bear Lakes, enjoying a beautiful 70º day on the water for two hours. We spotted a beaver munching on water lily flowers and concluded our adventure with a lovely supper at Mulligan’s. Participants included Barb Palmer, Bob and Patty Obma, Mike and Rita Shores, among others. With some testing of new equipment and familiar camaraderie, it was a perfect start to our paddling season!
