  2. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n1uasqxX4vg This program is designed to stimulate the LOCAL economy with $1,000,000 in sales for local businesses during the week of August 23rd! The Holland Sentinel in partnership with The Holland Chamber will stimulate our local economy by printing a Special Edition to be published on August 23. It will be filled with great offers from local participating merchants! This program will not only stimulate sales that week but will do so the following week through the introduction of “Holland Stimulus Fast Cash” to be given away to your customers with each expenditure of $50 August 23 - 29, 2009 and redeemed at participating merchants from August 30 - September 7, 2009

  3. How “Fast Cash” Works • All participating merchants purchase 100 - $5 Fast Cash Certificates at the beginning of the promotion. (additional certificates available). • For every $50 purchase your customer makes between August 23 – August 29, 2009 you will give your customer a $5 Fast Cash Certificate. • Your customers may redeem these Fast Cash Certificates at any participating merchant the following week between August 30 – September 7, 2009. • All Fast Cash Certificates should be handled as Cash.

How do I become a participant? • Purchase a full page, full color ad for $250 (Prepaid) • Purchase 100 - $5 Fast Cash Certificates(Billed in September) • Return any unused Fast Cash Certificates (Credit in September)* • Return any redeemed Fast Cash Certificates (Credit in September)* • *All unused Fast Cash Certificates and Redeemed Fast Cash Certificates should be returned to The Holland Sentinel for a credit of $5.00 each against the original quantity purchased. Merchant Guidelines • Merchant will receive their Fast Cash Certificates from The Holland Sentinel. • The merchants are responsible for returning all “redeemed” and unused certificates to The Holland Sentinel by Friday, September 18th or the merchant will be charged $5.00 for each Fast Cash Certificate received. • The merchant will be billed for the difference between the Fast Cash Certificates received and Fast Cash Certificates returned @ $5.00 each. • Each Fast Cash Certificate will be numbered on non-copy paper. (Duplicates of any kind are not valid) • All merchants are required to hand out the Fast Cash Certificates at point of purchase for each $50 purchase between August 23 – August 29, 2009. • All merchants will accept Fast Cash Certificates for redemption between August 30 – September 7,2009. • If additional Fast Cash Certificates are needed the merchant can purchase more from The Holland Sentinel.

  7. Customer Guidelines • Customers will receive $5 Fast Cash Certificates for every $50 purchase from participating Merchants between August 23 – August 29, 2009 • Customers may redeem their Fast Cash Certificates in any of the participating stores between August 30 – September 7, 2009. Fast Cash Certificates are NOT valid any other dates. • Copied Fast Cash Certificates are not valid and will not be redeemed. • A list of participating merchants can be found in The Holland Sentinel Special Section published on Sunday August 23, www.hollandsentinel.com or www.holland-chamber.org. • Fast Cash Certificates are not redeemable for cash, no compensation will be given for expired or invalid Fast Cash Certificates.

  8. Selling points • If all Fast Cash Certificates are handed out, the participating merchants will realize 1,000,000 in sales. • Cost to the merchant is $250 for a full page, full color ad in the tab-sized publication. • Bonus! If more certificates are returned than purchased, then merchant will earn $5.00 per additional certificate in future advertising dollars. • Promoted through The Holland Sentinel, www.hollandsentinel.com, • www.holland-chamber.org, The Holland Chamber and WJQ radio. • Timing is perfect for the all important back-to-school season.
