  3. Plan • What outcome/s do I intend? • What resources I can used? • What’s a good time (time of day/term)? • Material given beforehand? Handouts during session? Posting material? • Setting (computer lab, classroom)? • Food/announcement

  4. Model Active Learning • How can I support active learning? • How can I blend theory and practice? • How can participants be involved?

  5. Other issues • Names matter (??training-development-workshop-update-session??) • Organize • tell them what we’re going to talk about • then tell them • then remind them what we told them • Short attention spans (variety = key to sustain interest) • Ask what went well & what didn’t (keep it short)
