New this year • Name: Corps Signals and Finance • Assigned Duties Yes we actually have a defined job to do this year • Manage the Corps ListServs® • Manage the Corps Websites • Handle issues/ideas with CMS/Cadets • Be knowledgeable regarding the SOFC • Handle outfit finances Note: every outfit MUST have someone listed as Signals & Finance

  3. New on Cadets • Duncan Announcement Request Form • ListServ® request form • Conference Room Reservation Form • Obstacle Course Reservation Form

Signals • Signals is responsible for handling the Corps ListServs® • There is a PowerPoint tutorial on Cadets on the S&F page about how to deal with ListServs® • Any ListServ® not requested through the Cadets form (i.e. requested directly through the listserv.tamu.edu website) will be automatically kicked back to the requestor and 3 demerits will be issued to the Signals SGT/Officer • There is no need for us to burden the University with vetting all of our lists when we already have the resources in place to do it ourselves

  5. Signals • Signals is responsible for policing the outfit websites and FaceBook sites • See the SOP for guidelines • Signals also handles reservations for the Corps Conference Room and the Obstacle Course • PowerPoint tutorial on Cadets • Must have a Google Account

Finance • Outfit Finances • Every outfit must have a Finance Officer • The University has set guidelines as to who can and cannot be the Finance officer, check on the Student Organization Finance Center (SOFC) website for details • SOFC is located on the second floor South Wing of the Koldus Building • Everyone who is responsible for the outfit finances must be trained by the SOFC and on the signature card in order to maintain an account at the SOFC

  7. Finance • Corps Dues • Will be happening within the first 6 weeks of the semester • Dues pay for intermural as well as other necessary operationalcosts
