  3. Kodak and the Birth of Film *Offered in 1888, by George Eastman. *Box camera, w/ single shutter speed. *Has enough film for 100 exposers. *Con- you had to send the film to the factory for processing.

  4. 35 MM *Build in 1913 by Oskar Barnack. *Further development was delayed for several years because of WW1. *Camera was put into production as the Leica 1 *Was a high end compact camera

  5. TLR’s and SLR’s *Built by Franke & HeideckeRolleiflex from 1928-1959. *Single and Twin-Lens. *Both high end and low end camera *Considered the sport camera. *First system camera *First line of interchangeable components.

  6. Instant Camera’s *Polaroid Model 95, appeared in 1948 *First Instant picture camera, allowed you to have finished positive prints in under a minute. *Relatively high price but caught on quickly. *Remains a top selling camera.
