    3. Seat number for exam If the candidate appears for more than one semester during that Examination, seat number for same candidate is different for different semesters. If a candidate is regular Student for 4th Semester, but he has to appear for 3rd & 2nd Semesters failure subjects also, he will be allotted 3 different Seat Numbers.     4. Enrollment number If candidate is enrolled before academic year 2009-10, first two digits implies the year of admission of that Candidate. If candidate is enrolled in academic year 2009-10 and onwards first two digits implies the year of admission of that Candidate ,next four digits implies Institute code and last four digits implies serial number of the candidate of that Institute. Eg 0901160087,1000070086,08034538 Enrollment for every student is unique and is same throughout his diploma/ Advance diploma/post diploma education even for change of branch, change of Institute, change of course and double diploma .The candidate has to fill on-line-enrollment-form with the original Enrollment number but with changed information.Enrollment plays a major role in declaring results.     5. Cases of Wrong Enrollment Blank Enrollment No. Enrollment written incorrectly due to wrong positioning of zeros or interchanging of digits. 9012600331 Must be 0901260331 Same Enrollment mentioned in Main seating chart in front of two different candidates. Two or more enrollment numbers mentioned to single Candidate in Main seating chart during previous examination. 5 Main Seating Chart correction for WINTER 2010

    6. Importance of correct enrollment number Any of the above wrong Enrollment cases lead to wrong carry forward of marks of 1st, , 3rd, 5th semester to 2nd, 4th, & 6th Semester. The correctness of candidates of final semester mark sheet is entirely dependent on the correctness of his Enrollment number as his record of pre-final semester is taken from common field i.e. enrollment number .     7. Name of candidate 1. Name should be as per on S.S.C mark sheet. 2. No Name Correction will be entertained by MSBTE after declaring Results. 3.     9. Last exam , last seat no Last Exam ,Last Seat Number terms appear only in case of X students. Cases of wrong Last Exam, Last Seat Number Blank Last Exam, Blank Last Seat Number Correct Last Exam but incorrect Last Seat Number Correct Seat Number but incorrect Last Exam. Both Last Exam, Last Seat incorrect Correct Last Exam, Last Seat Number must be mentioned in Main seating chart by referring the gazette for which the candidate has appeared in recent last Exam for that semester .     11. R status is for Regular candidate. Status R should be mentioned only for those candidate who are appearing for the first time for that semester examination. If the candidate is appearing for the first time for ME 1 E examination, his status is R for that first semester. If the candidate has taken admission in direct 3rd semester and appearing for 1st , 2nd backlog subjects & all subjects of 3rd sem , his status for all the three semesters will be R as he is appearing for all the three semesters for the first time. X status is for X -Students. Status X should be mentioned only for those students who are not appearing for the first time for that semester examination In case of X -Student last exam, last seat must be mentioned Disallowed Candidates taken admission in the same semester in next academic year has status R.     12. Updated seating chart term refers to candidates record ready for posting of new marks of winter2010 examination after updating from HISTORY table.(marks are updated from his last exam, last seat number) It shows following Subject Details Passed previously : Marks carry forwarded & followed by # symbol. Fail in Theory in previous Exam : Blank space below TH subject abbreviation and previous test marks Followed by # symbol and blank space for AG. Fail in PR/OR in previous Exam : Blank space below PR/OR subject abbreviation .     17. Every Student appearing for winter2010 exam and whose seat number is allotted by MSBTE must exist in main seating chart. If a student appearing for winter2010 exam and whose seat number is allotted by MSBTE but not mentioned in main seating chart by the Institute ,his result can not be declared as he is not included in the Result Software System .No complaint will be entertained by MSBTE for not declaration of result of such candidate. Hence it is necessary include the students not found in the main seating chart but appearing for winter2010 examination. 17 Main Seating Chart correction for WINTER 2010

    19. Appear code is used to represent meaning with which candidate is appearing for examination. Y : indicates candidate whose record of subjects, last exam, last seat was available while filling on-line-exam form & has to appear for exam for 1st attempt or more than first attempt(R or X). A : indicates additional candidate to be added in course, year, master for that semester whose record of subjects,last exam, last seat was not available while filling on-line-exam form &has to appear for exam for 1st attempt or more than first attempt(R or X). D : indicates candidates who have taken admission in 3rd semester directly (direct admission) & appearing for 1st & 2nd and 3rd semester for the 1st time. E Must be used in Seating chart of 1st & 2nd semesters only and D for 3rd Semester. E : indicates Exemption in case of subjects for that semester. 19 Main Seating Chart correction for WINTER 2010

    22. Blank Name When the candidates record was not available while filling on-line-exam form ,his enrollment number ,name ,course ,year ,master information was filled by the candidate or Institute . During that time ,name of the candidate was left blank. Seat number is given to such candidate . Seating chart should be corrected by writing his name as per on SSC mark sheet 22 Main Seating Chart correction for WINTER 2010

    23. Course code not matching with HISTORY Information in HISTORY table contains Enrollment no,Instt , course, year, master, appear code , years of all exams that candidate has appeared with his respective seat numbers in those exams. Seating chart when updated from HISTORY table , transfers marks of the candidate from the previous exam when and only when his enrollment no., course , year & master is matched with the record in seating chart. Course code may not match with HISTORY table when Candidate has changed the course (CE in HISTORY & ME in Main seating chart) Candidate is appearing for double diploma. In the above cases appropriate appear code must be mentioned in the seating chart .(C,S) 23 Main Seating Chart correction for WINTER 2010

    24. MASTER code not matching with HISTORY Information in HISTORY table contains Enrollment no. Instt,course,year,master,years of all exams that candidate has appeared with his respective seat numbers in that exams. Seating chart when updated from HISTORY table , transfers marks of the candidate from the previous exam when and only when his enrollment no, course , year & master is matched with the record in seating chart.     25. Candidate is from change of scheme category . Eg. A to C or A to E or C to E scheme .In such cases Backlog subjects of lower semester must be mentioned with remaining subjects as exemption of that semester (1A-3C-2C-1C,2A-3C-4C-5C).Though candidate is appearing for equivalent subjects of E for 3rd sem , he must be under C master for 3rd semester. Disallowed in Winter 2009 in 3rd semester ,C master and then completing the term in Winter 2010 in 3rd semester ,in E master (1C-2C-3E) 25 Main Seating Chart correction for WINTER 2010

    26. In case Candidate appearing for equivalent paper code of E master, they must fill exam form in C master as their HISTORY is in C master. X candidate of 3rd semester must have master code C if he is pass/ATKT/fail in 4th semester C master. X candidate of 1st semester must have master code C if he is pass/ATKT/fail in 2nd semester C master 26 Main Seating Chart correction for WINTER 2010

    27. Same year code but different masters Candidates exam form must be only once for the same semester in case of C&E masters. Master code of semester must be accurate . One off the records must be deleted considering his History . In case of change of scheme . Eg.1A- to-3E with backlog of 1E, candidate may have two different masters (A,E) for 1st semester /year if 1st year is in ATKT . From Academic year 2009-10 C-master code is closed for 1st semester & even with discontinuation of question papers of C- master(9001,9002,9003 etc.). X-candidates are appearing for equivalent paper code of E master(12001,12002,12003 ). But as they are X-candidates of C-master ,they must fill on-line-exam-form under C-master . Their master code remains same as C. Their marks of previously pass subjects is carry forwarded only if enrollment no. , course , year , master , last exam , last seat no. is matched. 27 Main Seating Chart correction for WINTER 2010

    28. Master code in C,E for the same Enrollment No. Some odd but correct combinations of master code with different semesters are mentioned. 2A-5C-4C-3C 3E-2C-1C 1A-3E-2E-1E 1C-2E-3E Exemption for appropriate subjects for that semester must be mentioned in case of change of scheme. While correcting any of the parameter like course , year ,master, Institute Deleted must mentioned in the remark column of wrong parameter like course , year , master, Institute in the seating chart and record must be added under correct parameter of MSC. 28 Main Seating Chart correction for WINTER 2010
