The completed package including application, essay and recommend- ations must be post-marked by April 1, 2014 Completed application packages can be mailed to: Brandon Junior Woman’s Club Attn: Scholarship Committee P.O. See the attached application specifications that are required for applying for the Sandy Waldron Scholarship. When submitting this application, you agree to the following if you are awarded a scholarship: 1. Attend a meeting on June 5th at the BJWC clubhouse (129 N. Moon, Brandon) 2. In December of 2014, write a letter to the BJWC indicating how school is going and your achievements to date. You could be eligible for an achievement award. Applications post-marked after April 1, 2014 will be returned to the applicant.

NOTE: Only the items listed should be sent. DO NOT send transcripts, grades, photos or anything extra. Applications will be returned if any one of the five components listed below are missing. • Community Service • College Goals – • 500 word essay on most rewarding volunteer experience.The scoring committee will not accept essays about Relay for Life • Attach 2 letters of recommendation. Letters need to be on official school, business, or organization letterhead and person must sign the letter. If individual writing the letter is not associated with a school, business, or organization, they must include their name and address on the letter. Send original signed letter. Copies will not be accepted. • Attach the completed application form to the above requirements and submit on or before April 1st. • Application cover sheet filled in with name, address, SS#, phone, school, ID.
