Growing up in Visalia with my family, including my two younger brothers, I’ve always cherished moments spent with loved ones, engaging in music, softball, and community events. Through various school projects and reflections—especially on child abuse—I discovered my desire to help children. Job shadowing a school counselor provided clarity that my true path lies in social work. While navigating obstacles like finances and separation from family, I remain motivated to pursue a four-year college education and find a fulfilling career in helping others.
