  2. “Let Man Overcome Anger with Love”Budda • Love is more powerful than anger • Good is greater than evil; truth is better than lies. • Violence will only lead to misery. • Do not return evil with more evil, but return with goodness and love: “If a man foolishly does me wrong, I will return to him the protection of my ungrudging love; the more evil comes from him, the more good shall go from me…” • A virtuous person will persevere over an evil person: “The virtuous man cannot be hurt and the misery that the other would inflict comes back to himself.”

  3. “My Faith in Non-Violence”Gandhi • Society is a better place with nonviolence. • Love conquers all: “Wherever you are confronted with an opponent, conquer him with love.” • Law of Love needs to rule mankind. • People can only achieve non-violence when the mind, body, and speech are all together as one. It takes the ability to control anger and have discipline. It takes bravery and much training. • The “Law of Love” is more impactful than the “Law of Destruction.”
