  4. Using the Computer Labs • Logging in • Press ctrl+alt+del • Enter username and password • Logging out • Press ctrl+alt+del - logout • Drives • f: Your local data area • v: WWW file folder –your webpage • www.hi.is/~username (your link)

  5. New Feature: ugla.hi.is • Its possible to log on to “Ugla” on ;ugla.hi.is and www.hi.is • There you can access features like: • Web mail, calendar, your files, print and storage quotas, your courses, grades etc. • Sign up for services like: wireless network and ADSL.

  6. More info: • Home space, 500 MB/student • Cost of printing: 7 ISK/page.

  9. Wireless network – free of charge • Extensive wireless network on campus • 802.11b/g standard • Register the “mac” or “physical” address of the network card. • Network name: HINET • Network key: 12345
