2. What is SF PFA? PFA provides
Program enhancements of part-day and full-day preschool programs that meet quality standards and prepare children and families for kindergarten
New part-day programs connected to wrap-around and full-day care that meet quality standards and prepare children and families for kindergarten.
3. What is SF PFA? New part-day programs will be offered free to all eligible San Francisco children, age 4. Other portions of the day will be paid for by parent/caregiver fees, vouchers, or existing subsidies.
Enrollment in new part-day programs will be prioritized for families on CEL waiting list; families below self-sufficiency; families who are not yet using licensed care
PFA will not supplant any existing funding sources for subsidized care.
