  2. ePSIplus: Purpose The thematic Network will: • Support the implementation of the European Directive on PSI re-use; • Facilitate the major opportunities for business to develop value added products and services based on PSI. Be active for 30 months from the 1st September 2006 through to 28th February 2009 (which covers the period leading up to the PSI Directive review in 2008 by the European Parliament.) Cover all Member (EU, EEA, EFTA) and candidate states Cover all PSI domains Focus on five major themes ePSIplus, LOCUS Meeting, London, 22nd November 2006

  3. ePSIplus: Major themes 1. Legal and regulatory progress and impact (including implementation of the Directive) 2. Public sector organisation and culture change (including compliance with the Directive) 3. Encouraging PSI re-use business 4. The financial impact of the Directive: pricing and charging (including impact on public sector costs and budget) 5.   5. ePSIplus: Analysts Roles • Record discussions, monitor and move forward thematic agendas, compile analytic reports • Lead and set agendas for thematic meetings • Co-ordinate expert participation each thematic meeting • An analyst will participate in every national meeting ePSIplus, LOCUS Meeting, London, 22nd November 2006

  6. ePSIplus: Network Partners Roles • Identifying experts to partake in network meetings • Hosting national meetings • Assisting with Information dissemination within country/sector • Information gathering and reporting on the situation within the country or sector • Attending Network meetings And in addition • Six to be members of the Project Management Board Network partners sign a grant agreement and agree to abide by the Network Rules ePSIplus, LOCUS Meeting, London, 22nd November 2006

  8. ePSIplus: Meetings Network kick off meeting held in Prague, 30/31 October 2006 (All the materials from the meeting are available on the ePSIplus web site) 15 Thematic cross-border workshops (3 iterative meetings for each of the 5 thematic areas) (Legal & Regulation theme workshop planned for February 2007, Netherlands) (Pricing impact theme workshops - Helsinki April 2007, London November 2007, Rome June 2008) Up to 35 National and Federal level meetings (Cyprus February 2007) Final Conference ePSIplus, LOCUS Meeting, London, 22nd November 2006
