SIDS Platform for SCP within the 10YFP and the SustainableTourism Programme Call from SIDS countries for their own SCP Platform within the 10YFP • In the outcome document of their interregional meeting, SIDS countries called for the “establishment of a SIDS specific support platform within the 10YFP with emphasis on small and medium enterprises, sustainable tourism, sustainable lifestyles and education for sustainable development…” • UNEP, as the 10YFP Secretariat, will support the development of such a platform, in close consultation with SIDS countries, with it’s initial functions to be launched at the Third International Conference on SIDS, in Samoa, 1-4 September.
