  3. Position Vehicle Park on a solid level surface with ample working room all around the wheel arches. Engage parking brake and chock opposites sides of wheels remaining on the ground.

  6. Remove Wheel Finish unscrewing all loosened lug nuts by hand before carefully extracting the wheel from the hub mounts.

  7. Change Tyre Deflate old tyre completely before breaking the bead seal and prying tyre edges off the rim. Refit replacement tyre by hand ensuring correctly centred.

  8. Refit Wheel Offer the wheel straight back onto the hub studs without damaging mating surfaces. Perform initial hand tighten of lug nuts to hold in place.

  9. Lower Vehicle Raise jack to allow full vehicle weight to bear down on newly fitted tyre and wheel assembly.

  10. Final Torque Use calibrated torque wrench to fully tighten lug nuts to spec in opposite star pattern.

  11. Recheck Torque After a short drive, reconfirm correct torque settings are still adhered to on all lug nuts.
