This project focuses on advancing teaching and learning through targeted equality and diversity initiatives at York. Led by key project officers, the team aims to support both staff and students by developing innovative programs that promote equal opportunities. Initiatives include Widening Participation projects, workshops on academic skills, cultural exchange programs, and tailored training for staff and students. By fostering inclusivity and supporting diverse learning environments, York is dedicated to providing quality education for all, regardless of background or challenges faced.

Widening Participation Projects • York meets its WP targets but is working actively on projects to provide equal opportunities for very able students in very challenging contexts.
