How to complete registration • Before a user can begin bidding, the registration process must be completed using the Username and Password provided in the email received. • Step 1 - This involves clicking the direct link in the email received for invitation into auction or visiting our website www.rihago.com and clicking the login links shown below.   4. How to complete registration • Step 2 – Enter the Username/Email address and Password provided in the email received for invitation into the auction as shown in the picture below. Enter Email address Enter Password Back to Contents

How to complete registration • Step 3 – On the ‘My Details’ page, fill out the registration form with your details, set a new password for your account, read and agree to the terms and conditions. All fields marked with asterisks (*) must be filled. Click the ‘Update’ button to save your details. Back to Contents

How to bid • Once you have completed the registration process, you can then proceed to an auction sale and start bidding on items. • The next few slides will explain the bidding process. • Step 1 - you must first log-in (Login) to your user area and select the auction sale you want to participate in.   7. How to bid • Step 2 – Enter the Username/Email address and Password provided in the email received for invitation into the auction as shown in the picture below. Enter Email address Enter Password Back to Contents

  8. How to bid • Step 3 – Select the auction sale type that you want to participate in. This is shown in the picture below. Auction Sale Types Back to Contents

  9. How to bid • Step 4 – After selecting the auction sale type, you will be directed to the Stock list page where all the items in the auction sale are displayed. This can be seen in the picture below. Bid Indicator Unique Lot number given to each item on sale Brief description and picture of the item Stock Search – to help find items using specific details Click to add an item to your Wish List Click to bid and/or view more details of an item Back to Contents

  10. How to bid • Step 5 – Upon clicking the ‘BID/VIEW’ link, you are directed to a more detailed view of the Lot you intend to view or place a bid on. This can be seen on the picture below. Auction Clock – displays time remaining until Lot sale ends Bid Area, enter bid amount and bid type Displays the current winning bid amount Displays the current minimum bid acceptable Displays number of bids placed on the Lot Back to Contents

  11. How to bid • Step 6 – Enter your desired bid amount, bid type and confirm your bid when prompted as shown on the picture below. Bid Confirmation – involves confirming the bid amount and bid type as correct before the bid is placed. A Hard Bid is a one-time bid for the amount specified by you. An Auto Bid will have the system automatically bid on your behalf, in the particular lot’s increments, up to your maximum Auto Bid amount. Back to Contents

  12. How to bid • Step 7 – Once you have confirmed your bid, a confirmation email will be sent to your email address. You can repeat all bidding steps for the lots you are interested in. Bid confirmed and status of your bid is displayed Back to Contents

How to bid Back to Contents • If your bid is not accepted after you have confirmed your bid (as shown in the previous slide), you have either entered an incorrect amount (you must enter a valid amount) or you have been outbid on the lot. The picture below shows the above explanation. Amount entered is valid, but you have been outbid, a new amount must be entered. Incorrect amount entered, as a result the bid is not accepted.

  14. Place a lot item on wish list • You can place a lot item on your Wish List which will be saved on ‘My Auctions’ area of your ‘My Account’ page. • Step 1 – On the stock list page, click the link ‘Add to Wish List’ on the specific lot as shown on the picture below. Click ‘ADD TO WISH LIST’ Back to Contents

Place a lot item on wish list Back to Contents • Step 2 - the lot item has been placed on your Wish List and is saved on ‘My Auctions’ area of your ‘My Account’ page. ‘MY AUCTIONS’ The status of both lot items are displayed as ‘Watching’ as they are on Wish List and no bids have been placed by you.

  16. Add a secondary bidder • This involves inviting a new bidder to participate in an auction on your behalf. • The following steps show how to add a secondary bidder: • Step 1 – Navigate to your ‘My Account’ area of the timed auction platform and click the button ‘Secondary Bidder’ as shown in the picture below. ‘SECONDARY BIDDER’ Back to Contents

  17. Add a secondary bidder • Step 2 – Fill out the ‘Add a Secondary Bidder’ form on the page and click Save. The email address of your secondary bidder will be displayed on the right-hand side of the page under ‘Secondary Bidder Status’. This is shown on the picture below. Add a secondary bidder • Once you have added a secondary bidder to your account, you have the option to de-activate and re-activate your secondary bidder at any point during the auction sale as shown in the picture below. Confirmation emails will be sent to you and your secondary bidder when adding, De-activating or Re-activating a secondary bidder. Secondary Bidder status is ‘Active’ and option to ‘De-activate’ is shown Secondary Bidder status is ‘Inactive’ and option to ‘Re-activate’ is shown Back to Contents
