RTF Project Updates • Domestic Heating Fuel Choice Study • No follow up meeting since July RTF • Northwest Research Group • Meets August 31, 2011 @ NEEA • GSHP Measures (ASHP to GSHP; FAF to GSHP) • No meeting of sub-committee expected • 100% capacity at 25 F UES • Question if it should be scheduled for August 30

RTF Project Updates • Grocery Refrigeration • Subcommittee met three times • Finalized Protocols required for RTF Consideration • Produced Evaluation Plan – Today’s decision • Refrigeration doors for multi-deck mid temp cases UES being developed • Subcommittee to meet once developed • Prepared for decision, August 30, 2011, Today

RTF Project Updates • Variable Capacity Heat Pump • Standard Protocol for Fan VFD • Measure calculator contract underway • Request RTF Subcommittee participation starting October • RTUG • Statement of work and RFP posted • Invite contractor selection committee participation • Finalize the standard protocol and all documentation • Prepared for delivery to RTF for decision

RTF Project Updates • Contracts being negotiated: • UES Measure Review – SBW • Measure Life Guidelines – SERA • Measure Cost/NEBS – Navigant • Request RTF Subcommittee Participation • 4 or 5 meetings through December • Provide input on emphasis and outcomes • Provide additional information or research

RTF Project Updates • Forming Lighting Subcommittee • Need new baseline by July 2012 • NW Lighting Trade Ally Network sees need • Likely to be a minimally compliant T12 • Moving to a T8 baseline will not be representative of the market • Regional lighting calculator update called for • Requesting RTF participants

RTF Project Updates • Residential Weatherization Specifications • 15 responders • Five comments were from consumer owned utilities • Three were from various efficiency contractors • Two comments from separate regional utility consortiums • One national laboratory, one regional utility energy supplier • Three requested additional time for comments • Four provided line by line edits to the technical specifications • One provided behavioral efficiency measure recommendations • One requested delay in adoption to October • One requested indefinite delay in adoption
