  3. Connecting the DOT’S So what have these tools done for us? • Increased hazard recognition • Increased hazard mitigation • Fostered “Brother’s Keeper” • Focused on proper behaviors • Reduce our risk tolerance (we are not there yet!) • Better planning creating better efficiency

  4. Supplying people with the proper tools and information provides the opportunity for improvement. Allowing programs in place to mature provides opportunity for step change. Performance Quality 2007 2008 2009 Goal for 2010 Commitment to “0”

Connecting the DOT’S • The point is: we have a lot of rigs, crews and employees that have accomplished one year, two years, three years and more with out a single recordable. • This can be attributed to sticking to the basics, connecting the DOT’S and being committed to the tools we have been given and changing behaviors. ZERO IS ACHIEVABLE
