Enhancements in Wind Forecasting: RRGRR003 Updates and Future Actions

On July 10, 2014, updates to RRGRR003 were discussed to improve wind forecasting. Significant requests include additional data to determine when automatic or manual actions are necessary due to temperature extremes and high wind speeds. The current status is in the R&C phase, leading up to scheduled discussions for action in the next meeting on July 29, 2014. The draft RRGRR is under ERCOT internal review, focusing on additional data for ORDC Phase II. Continued participation challenges are noted among Resource Entities.
