  2. What is A-F? It’s an annual report card grade given to all public schools. It was adopted by the Oklahoma Legislature in 2011.

  4. The grade is comprised of three main sections… • Student Achievement – 33% • Student Growth – 34% • - Overall Student Growth 17% • - Bottom 25% Student Growth 17% • Whole School Performance – 33%

  7. Areas of Focus * Increasing OCCT pass rates in all tested areas. Focusing specifically on math and reading. * Decrease referrals by 50% * Increase attendance to 95%

  10. STUDENT OWNERSHIP Students… * Have/will review their scores from last year. * Have/will identify personal areas of strength and constraint. * Work with teachers to set goals for success for 2013 testing.

  12. Sixty percent of all students will score proficient or higher in all tested areas of the OCCT. Data Days scheduled throughout the year Title I Math Classes – Utilizing Think Through Math computer based learning. Title I Reading Classes – Utilizing Reading Horizons computer based learning. Student Performance Charts Individualized Plans w/ Focus Groups (Students scoring in the bottom 25%) Trojan Time Remediation Learning Together Various Incentives

  14. TROJANS RESPECT -TREAT EVERYONE AND OUR BUILDING WITH RESPECT. OWNERSHIP -TAKE RESPONSIBILITY AND OWN UP TO YOUR ACTIONS AND CHOICES COMPLIANCE -WHEN AN ADULT ASKS YOU TO DO SOMETHING, DO IT THE FIRST TIME. KINDNESS -KEEP YOUR HANDS, FEET AND NEGATIVE COMMENTS TO YOURSELF.
