Golf Movies • Can be combined with other genres such as comedy and romance. • Usually shows how a character tries to accomplish a goal through golf • Ex: Happy Gilmore tries to win enough money to buy his grandmother’s house back by playing golf, while also trying to win over Virginia Venit, the sports reporter. • Ex: Danny tries to win the caddy scholarship at the country club.

He decides to play on tour so he can win enough money to buy his grandma’s house back.
