CHANGES COMING TO DATA SUBMISSION • Still collecting Current, Former, and Never EL data • Adding submission questions: • Spring or Fall data • Name & contact information of submitter • Last year for data submission by spreadsheet via Secure File Transfer • Moving to an electronic data collection for spring/fall of 2019 • More secure data • Better data analysis

CURRENT DISCUSSIONS: • Expand to every high school in the state, with information also at the middle school level • Get into every high school in participating districts • Investigate post-secondary opportunities for students to earn the Seal – working with Chemeketa on a pilot • Assistance in funding for some assessments • Promote the Seal to our ever EL students • Begin conversations with area businesses about the meaning and impact of hiring students with the Seal

OUTREACH: • All high schools in the same district • Get the word out to the whole state • Conferences to spread the word: • EL Alliance Conference – March 8 & 9 session • International Youth Leadership – Feb.23 • Cesar Chavez – WOU – March 2 • Cesar Chavez – SOU – March 9 • OSU Student & Teacher Visitation – May 4
