FILE EXTENSION NOTES • YOU CAN DISPLAY THE FILE EXTENSIONS BY CONTROL PANELS, CLICKING IN THE TOP RIGHT, “SMALL ICONS” THEN CLICK FOLDER OPTIONS, THEN CLICK VIEW THEN UNTICK THE BOX THAT SAYS “HIDE EXTENSION FOR KNOWN FILES AND THEN PRESS APPLY AND OK. YOU CAN SEE THE FILES TYPES BY DISPLAYING THE DETAILS IN THE LIST OF THE FOLDER.

  3. JPG A JPEG is an acronym for the joint photographic experts group.

  4. GIF Gif files are actually files that are logos or texts that may look like a text but it is actually a logo for a shop, company etc.

  5. png notes PNG files are a mix of pictures made to improve and replace GIFS.
