Growth Opportunity Partnership on this event will allow positioning within the community as a proud partner of CMN Hospitals Growth through marketing opportunities to new audiences • Hospital • Entercom Communications • Foundation • CMN Hospital Partners Engagement of your current members through a 27-day event with multiple opportunities for events (if desired)

  4. Miracle Marathon is poised to be CMN Hospitals Signature Athletic Event. It’s a 27.2 day virtual fundraising campaign in which participants run/walk (or achieve forward motion) one mile per day at their own leisure. Each day, CMN Hospitals will send challenges or motivational messages with the goal of building an interactive, online community of participants. • Children’s Hospital Colorado has been identified as a test market for this national event. The event will also be tested in Atlanta, Georgia and Orlando, Florida for 2013. National rollout expected for 2014.

September 1st– www.MiracleMarathon.org live September 16 to 30 – on-air promotion driving sign ups and awareness October 1 to 26 – one mile of forward motion per day September 16 to October 27 – on-air, web & email promotion – “Peyton’s Pick”, Slacker scooter cam, Sam’s stroller cam, Denise family hikes October 7 to 18 – on-air promotion driving donations and awareness October 27th– opportunity for “meet up” event for 1.2 mile walk Participants receive: • Daily engagement email with miracle marathon update • Hospital wristband • Opportunity to fundraise and blog about experience

  6. Media Objectives & Strategy Create awareness for a new fundraiser, Miracle Marathon, for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Connect Mountain West Credit Union Association as a sponsor of the program and help raise funds through new and existing members Strategy: Use KOSI 101 and Alice 105.9 radio to educate and activate consumers on Miracle Marathon as well as partner with MWCUA to align with Miracle Marathon as a major supporter of the fundraiser.

Media Overview Timing: 2 weeks in September focused on registration and 2 weeks in October focus on donations Support and Sponsorship Includes: • 4 week on-air campaign on Alice 105.9 and KOSI 101. • Support from the on air talent with mentions driving people to the website • Miracle Marathon presented by Mountain West Credit Union Foundation specialty page • 4 weeks of streaming and display ads to run on kosi101.com and alice1059.com • 2 dedicated email blasts to the KOSI and Alice • Support in the station newsletters

Children’s Hospital Colorado Support CMN Hospitals provides: • Recognition on Miracle Marathon webpage as presenting local partner • Logo and link on Children’s Hospital Colorado Foundation (CMN Hospitals page) as presenting partner (70,000 visits in 2012) • Featured on one (1) localized message to all Denver participants during 26 day event • Featured in one CMN specific newsletter August 2013 as presenting local sponsor • Listing in Foundation E- Newsletter (over 79,000 reach) communication as presenting local partner for miracle marathon • Listed in one Children’s Post (6,000 recipients) internal communication as presenting local sponsor • Collateral materials and information sent to all credit unions • Pre-written content for web, email and social media

How can Credit Unions Across Colorado help? • Create a team at www.MiracleMarathon.org • Encourage participation from employees and members • Create awareness for Miracle Marathon and CMN Hospitals in your community by: • Having Miracle Marathon materials in your branches • Communication to your members – mailings, ecommunications, website (link to www.MiracleMarathon.org for registration) • Fundraising from employees and members • Social media support • Major push for recruitment: mid-September

Where does the money go? • Children’s Fund gifts help Children’s Hospital Colorado quickly improve the care we provide to each child who walks through our doors.   • Children’s Fund gifts help Children’s Colorado quickly improve the specialized care we provide to kids by allowing us to fund areas of greatest need. • Children’s Fund gifts help us improve the care we provide to family members, who Children’s Colorado counts as important members of each patient’s care team. • Children’s Fund gifts may be used to • buy essential new medical equipment • hire or train new staff • cover the cost of care for patients unable to afford treatment • launch a critical new program • develop a new research infrastructure for an area that could lead to exciting findings that improve pediatric care.

  11. In 2012… • We treated 186,277 individual children • Treated children from all 64 counties in CO • Had 560,046 outpatient visits • Saw patients from all 50 states and Washington DC along with patients from Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico • Average kiddo stayed here 6.4 days
