Australians generate an alarming 100,000 tons of e-waste annually, approximately 5 kg per person. To combat this issue, it’s crucial to adopt sustainable practices. If your electronic device is functioning, consider donating or selling it instead of discarding it. Recycle televisions and computers at designated plants for responsible disposal. Optimize energy use by recharging devices during the day and using screen savers to reduce electricity consumption. Remember to switch off appliances and unplug chargers to avoid wasting power. Together, we can minimize e-waste effectively.
