  4. Human & Physical Features In the first place, Jamaica is home to 2,682,000 people. Next, the life expectancy of Jamaica is 72.6 years. Similar, the U.S. life expectancyis78.2 years. The literacy rate of Jamaica is 80% making it a generally educatedcountry. Both of those facts are human features. Doctors in Jamaica aren't very plentiful with 85 out of 100,000 being doctors, compared to the U.S. with 256. The infant mortality of Jamaica is 13.3 compared to the U.S.’s 6.3,making them both 1st world countries. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) LITERACY RATE

  5. Flag Jamaica has 3 colors in it’s flag:black, green, and yellow. Jamaica’s flag symbolizes the motto “Hardships there are but the land is green and the shineth.” The parts of the flag mean something as well. For example, the black triangles represent the adversity Jamaica has overcome. In addition, the green triangles represent hope and the agriculture of Jamaica. Above all, the yellow cross represents the mineral wealth of Jamaica. Some history behind the flag is that it was adopted in 1962. It was adopted when Jamaica gained freedom from the Federation of The West Indies. These are just a few interesting facts about Jamaica’s flag.

  7. Religion Jamaica’s main religions are Protestant and Roman Catholic, 2 major branches of Christianity. To begin with, Christianity was founded in Israel in 30, A.D.by Jesus Christ. The Christian religion has over 2 billion followersworldwide and has been like that for over 1,500 years! Next, lets discussgod. Christians believe in one god who is the Father,Son,and the Holy Spirit. All in all, he is one person. The afterlife for Christianityis Eternal Heaven or Hell. The text that Christians use is the Holy Bible. Those were some facts about the Christian religion in Jamaica.

  9. Animals, Plants & Natural Resources Jamaica is home to many natural resources. To begin with, there is theJamaican Mango. This hummingbird is native to Jamaica. It lives in coastal regions of Jamaica. Next, isthe Jamaican Yellow Boa. This boa lives in the moist limestone forests of Jamaica and can grow up to 7 feet! However, it does not live long after that. Some plants in Jamaica include the Blue Mahoe. This tree is a great source of lumber. It can reach up to 66 feet tall. Another type of wood in Jamaica is Lignum Vitae, used mostly as a trade wood. Some natural resources in jamaica include bauxite, gypsum, and limestone. In conclusion, Jamaica is home to many natural resources, plants, and animals.

Religion: a certain set of beliefs. Synonym: creed research connection: the main religion of Jamaica is Christianity.
