  2. Banking Application ATB Bank LTD has introduced a computerised banking application. It performs many functions. It is responsible for reconciling customer account balances. The system takes details of the transactions made by the customer, as well as bank statements for the previous month when reconciling customer account balances.  A record of each transaction is maintained on the Account Transactions database. The application provides a facility for direct debit bill paying. The precise payment amount is maintained on the Account Transactions database. It also provides facilities for depositing funds – wages can be lodged directly into the account though pay-path. Finally, funds can be withdrawn from the customer account using the banking application.
