Equipment • Drillstring from surface to liner hanger/packer • Liner Hanger / Packer • Latch between liner hanger, liner and inner string (drill pipe) • Inner string (Drill pipe) • Liner • Latch between innerstring, liner and BHA • Motor (For bit RPM) • MWD and LWD • 3D RSS (Rotary Steerable System) • Reamer shoe or hole opener • Pilot bit 3 5 6 10 11 2 9 8 7 1 4

  3. Operations – step by step • Make up reamer shoe, liner and linerhanger and set this in slips in rotary table • Make up BHA / inner string and trip in by using a false rotray table • Latch on to liner • Trip in with complete system to TD • Rotary drill to TD, liner RPM is 80, bit RPM 200 (due to motor) • Relatch inner string and BHA from liner and liner hanger • Trip out with BHA • Cement the liner in place conventionally
