3. First Project Year 2011-2012 • August 2011 • All schools signed the contract with their National Agencies. • Teachers, students parents and local communities were informed about the project by each school. • -Project teams were formed in each school and held their first meetings.

4. September 2011 • Irish school prepared their presentation boxes. • October 2011 • Presentation boxes were sent from Ireland to all participating schools. • Irish presentation boxes were received in each school, opened and investigated with the students. • - The two German schools made and sent postcards for the “Reunification Day”.

5. Cyprus school made and sent postcards for the “Independence Day”. • -Swedish school prepared their presentation boxes. • November 2011 • All schools took part in the meeting in the project meeting held in Ireland. There were observed and discussed the teaching methods used in language teaching. The progress of the projected was evaluated and future actions were planned.

6. Presentation boxes were sent from Sweden to all participating schools. • Swedish presentation boxes were received in all partner schools, opened and investigated with the students. • -In each school there were held drawing competitions for the project logo. Three proposals were chosen and voted for. The winning proposals from each school were sent to all partners and students from each school voted for the best proposal.

7. The German school from Weißenhorn prepared their presentation boxes. • December 2011 • -Results of the vote for the project logo were sent from each school to Sweden, where the votes or numbered and the winner was announced: Cyrpus proposal was voted the project logo. • -The German school from Weißenhorn sent their presentation boxes to all partner schools.

8. German presentation boxes were received in all partner schools, opened and investigated with the students. • -Students from all schools made Christmas postcards and sent them to all partners. • -Romanian school established the project blog at http://linguisticexchange.wordpress.com and sent the address to all partners. • -Romanian students drew and sent cards for Romania’s National Day”.

9. January 2012 -Romanian school prepared their presentation boxes. February 2012 -Romanian presentation boxes were sent to all partner schools. -Romanian presentation boxes were received by all partners, opened and investigated with the pupils. -Cyprus school prepared their presentation boxes.

10. All partner schools took part in a special project meeting held in both German schools. In first school there were observed and discussed the methods used in language teaching. The progress of the project was evaluated and discussed as well as future actions to be taken. In the second school there also observed and discussed the methods used in language teaching. For the rest of the meeting all participants took part in a local carnival held both in the school and all over the village. • A short follow-up meeting was held via Skype.

11. March 2012 • Cyprus presentation boxes were sent to all partners. • -Presentation boxes from Cyprus were received by all partners, opened and investigated with the pupils. • -Irish students made and sent postcards for “Saint Patrick’s Day”. • -Spanish school prepared their presentation boxes.

12. April 2012 • Spanish presentation boxes were sent to all partners. • -Presentation boxes from Spain were received by all partners, opened and investigated with the pupils. • -German school from Ilmenau prepared their presentation boxes. • -Romanian pupils made Easter cards and sent them to all partner schools.

13. May 2012 • All partner schools took part in the project meeting held in Spain. Methods used in language teaching were observed and discussed the. The progress of the project was evaluated and discussed as well as future actions to be taken. • German presentation boxes were sent from the school in Ilmenau to all partners. • -German boxes were received by all partners, opened and investigated with the pupils.

14. All schools finished setting their Comenius and project corners by adding the contents of all presentation boxes as well as materials and decorations produced by their own pupils. • An end-of-year project meeting was held on-line via Skype. During the meeting the partners evaluated the project progress so far, discussed and planned the action to be taken during the second year of the project. • -Each school prepared their end of year festivities.

15. June 2012 • All partner schools presented their end of year festivities to the parents and to the local communities and informed them about the results and progress of the project after the first year as well as about what will happen in the second year. • July 2012 • -All partners stayed in contact over the summer month by Skype, Yahoo Messanger, Facebook, project blog and email.

16. Second Project Year 2012-2013 August 2012 -All partners stayed in contact over the summer month by Skype, Yahoo Messanger, Facebook, project blog and email.

17. September 2012 • A short project meeting to start the second year of the project was held on-line via Skype. • Students in Irish school chose by voting an Irish traditional story and made drawings to tell the story without words. • October 2012 • -The traditional story drawings were sent from Ireland to all partners.

18. -All partner schools received the traditional story drawings from Ireland and the students wrote what they thought the story was about. • All partner schools took part in the project meeting held in Cyprus. The methods used in language teaching were observed and discussed. The progress of the project was evaluated and discussed as well as future actions to be taken. • Swedish students chose by voting a Swedish traditional story and made drawings to tell the story without words.

22. January 2013 • -Germany sent the original version of their story to all partners, who sent back to Weißenhorn their “new” versions of the German traditional story. • -Romanian students chose by voting a Romanian traditional story and made drawings to tell the story without words. • February 2013 • The traditional story drawings were sent from Romania to all partners.

23. -All partner schools received the traditional story drawings from Romania and the students wrote what they thought the story was about. -All schools prepared their parts for the method book and sent their part of the dictionary to Cyprus to be put together. -Cyprus students chose by voting a Cypriot traditional story and made drawings to tell the story without words. -Romanian students made and sent to all partners cards for 1st of March, the First Spring Day.

24. March 2013 -All partner schools took part in the project meeting held in Romania. The methods used in language teaching were observed and discussed. The progress of the project was evaluated and discussed as well as future actions to be taken. Romanian students together with their guests celebrated the 1st of March, the First Spring Day and gave the guests cards for the 8th March, the International Women’s Day. -The traditional story drawings were sent from Cyprus to all partners.

25. -All partner schools received the traditional story drawings from Cyprus and the students wrote what they thought the story was about. • Romania sent the original version of their story to all partners, who sent back to Romania their “new” versions of the Romanian traditional story. • Spanish students chose by voting a Spanish traditional story and made drawings to tell the story without words. • -Irish students made and sent postcards for “Saint Patrick’s Day”.

26. April 2013 -Cyprus sent the original version of their story to all partners, who sent back to Cyprus their “new” versions of the Cypriot traditional story. -The traditional story drawings were sent from Spain to all partners. - All partner schools received the traditional story drawings from Spain and the students wrote what they thought the story was about.

27. -German students from Ilmenau chose by voting a German traditional story and made drawings to tell the story without words. May 2013 -The traditional story drawings were sent from Ilmenau, Germany to all partners. - All partner schools received the traditional story drawings from Ilmenau, Germany and the students wrote what they thought the story was about.

28. -All partner schools took part in the last project meeting held in Sweden. The methods used in language teaching were observed and discussed. The final evaluation of the project was made and the final report was discussed and there were conclusions drawn. -Spain sent the original version of their story to all partners, who sent back to Spain their “new” versions of the Spanish traditional story. -Each country sent their part for the method book to Ireland to be put together.

29. -Germany, Ilmenau sent the original version of their story to all partners, who sent back to Germany their “new” versions of the German traditional story. -Evaluation questionnaires were applied to all project teams members in all partner schools. -Cyprus and Ireland finished editing the dictionary and the method book and sent it to Romania to be printed. -Spain finished editing the storybook and sent it to Romania to be made into a CD.

30. -The project blog was updated. June 2013 -The dictionary and the method book were printed and the electronic version was published on the project blog together with the storybook CD. -All schools performed end of school year festivities in front of parents and local community and informed them about the results of the project. -All schools started writing the final report and uploading products to European Shared Treasure site.

31. July 2013 -Several project meetings were held on-line via Skype for the joint work at the final report and European Shared Treasure database.

32. After Project End Activities August – September 2013 -The final report was finished by each country and sent to their National Agency before the deadline. -All the products and relevant facts about the project were uploaded both on the project blog and on the European Shared Treasure database website.
