About Junior Achievement (JA) JA is the largest and fastest growing not-for-profit education organization in the world JA has a 90 year history, now reaching 9.7 million students in 124 countries each year JA provides relevant business and financial literacy programs to students, free-of-charge JA programs are funded by the business community, foundations, and individuals; and endorsed by school boards Our Business World

About Junior Achievement of Central Ontario • JA has 15 charters across Canada • JACO offers 9 programs from grades 4-12 • Almost 66,000 students in Central Ontario participated in one of 2,548 JA programs taught during the 2013-2014 school year • JACO extends from Burlington, to Barrie, to Bowmanville and includes 13 school boards • JA Central Ontario has 130 corporate sponsors, 100 Corporate Coordinators and more than 5,000 volunteers Our Business World
