  2. Hello, I’m Randal. This is me as a little cub playing with my brother, Ricky, and our mother, Rebecca. We were happy in our forest home.

  3. Sadly, my mother could not be with us forever. The hunters saw her beautiful fur and shot her. Not only did they break the law they made it harder for me and Ricky to survive.

  4. Deforestation like this is happening in our home land. The people don’t care about our homes. The lack of housing caused yet another devastation for me. Ricky wasn’t as fortunate as me to survive.

  5. Therefore I am left feeling alone in what’s left of my home. I still have many difficulties that I have to fight against.

  6. This is one of the things I have to live with. Snow leopards eat us poor defenseless red pandas. I have to only be active at night and stay close to the safety of tall trees and small areas.

  7. My family is gone but there are other red pandas in this forest. We all struggle to get enough bamboo and other food to eat.

  8. Not all people are trying to harm us. We have people called conservationists trying to help us. With my family it’s too late, but many other families are getting bigger because of the help we receive.

  9. Despite all these tragedies and difficulties I can living happily ever after, for now.
