Mobile Working in Wakefield

This session outlines the drivers for change in Wakefield Council's transformation project, focusing on the WorkSmart program and the technical solution for mobile working. The drivers include property costs, inefficient use of property, administrative overheads, and the need to improve citizen focus. The WorkSmart solution involves four workstyles applied to all office staff, with technology requirements for mobile workers, solution development, and the identified benefits for employees, the Council, and citizens.
