Course Details During ECE362 each TEAM will complete the following tasks in a professional manner: Preparation of a PDS Generation and Evaluation of Product Ideas Conduct a Market analysis for their product Investigate the Intellectual Property (IP) including a patent search associated with their product Prepare a technical description of their product Prepare a business plan for the development of their product Prepare a schedule for development of their product Prepare a budget for the costs of development of their product Complete a written proposal for the development of their product Make an oral presentation for the development of their product Submit weekly agendas prior to Friday team meetings Submit weekly minutes following Friday team meetings Maintain website with documentation of their team activities Page 3

ECE362 Course Grading Individual Grades – 30% Quiz every Friday Individual Assignments Attendance Team Grades – 60% Team Assignments Team communications Team Website Attendance Instructor Evaluation – 10% Attitude Responsibility Participation Absences: (See Page 3, RHIT Student Handbook) Notification of team members and instructor IN ADVANCE. A signed memo must be submitted to instructor IN ADVANCE. Page 4

Assignment – Due Tues, Dec 2 • INDIVIDUAL ASSIGNMENT - Prepare and submit a personal skills and interests memo that includes: • Technical skills and experience • Personal interests and hobbies • Term you took ECE361 • Professional society membership, i.e., IEEE • TEAM ASSIGNMENT – FORM and NAME a team of 3 or 4 members with whom you will work for the entire term. • Pick team members with whom you can be candid; friends may not be best. • Form a team with a variety of skills, academic interests and abilities, and work experience.
