ProfileNicholas SeiersenConsultant Trade Advisory Services Export Development Canada • Nick has been working with EDC since 2012 as an independent consultant supporting EDC’s Supply Chain Diagnostic Program. He joins the Trade Advisory Services team in delivering supply chain management expertise for select, trade-engaged Canadian companies wishing to adopt innovative practices that will benefit their international competitiveness. • Before founding Seiersen Enterprises, Nick led the Toronto-based Supply Chain consulting practices at KPMG and at BearingPoint, leading banner Supply Chain transformation projects at major manufacturers, retailers and public sector organizations. He has worked across all industries in North America and Europe, and across all supply chain disciplines, including importation, network design, facility layout, freight and delivery management, inventory deployment and replenishment, distribution & returns, forecasting, planning & scheduling, production, maintenance, new product introduction, customer-channel-product profitability analysis, procurement, purchasing, contract & supplier management, Supply Chain governance, outsourcing, and major systems implementations. Prior to moving to Canada, he led industry marketing at Digital Equipment Europe to the Supply Chain communities in the Transportation, Retail, and Industrial markets. He has also worked in the Paris office of A.T. Kearney, as well as industrial baker Le Pain Jacquet and retailer Auchan. • Nick is a PLog. (professional Logistician), and holds an MBA in Industrial Management from Pacific States University, and a B.Sc.
