Competence Centre for Sustainable Energy – progress to date Expression of Interest submitted 22 April 2008 on behalf of the QUESTOR Members plus affiliated companies £21,000 funding awarded January 2010 to complete the Project Definition Stage (Detailed Expression of Needs) Competence Centre Approved September 2010 - initial Academic Partners will be QUB, AFBI and UU £5M funding over 5 years (plus additional £5M leveraged funding) Application for 100% Funding for Centre Manager Submitted October 2010 Up to 80% funding for collaborative research projects Will fund research projects only (but must include plans for technology transfer/commercialisation)
