7. A full description of duties and goals a head of the Groups:

Supreme committee and macro policy making: • Determining a general policy for improving and expanding laser science. • Building relations with high-ranked officials to attract their support. • Making relationships with other state organizations, making them informed and attracting their co operations. • Taking general and final decisions about recommended programs by the six groups. • Choosing and appointing resources, soft-ware and hard-ware necessities for laser technology. • Taking necessary measures on-time and changing directions in the plan whenever needed. (considering the situation in the country and society). • Providing a studying opportunity for keen and knowledgeable professors to enroll advanced courses in several years in a way that laser science be firmly founded and turn to a fertile pole in the world.

Education Group: • Making an educational curriculum for Ph.D and special courses. • Making short-term courses to graduate dentist in 3 levels of primary, intermediate and advanced. • Training university professors in a two-year period. • Planning and making fellow-ship and Ph.D courses . • Supervising on performance of public training in a 10-years plan. • Making leaflets and text-books. • Proving qualifications and reliable foreign laser certificates. • Training a scientific group of experienced people for teaching text books in Ph.D and specialty level. • Sending university professors frequently for studying opportunities an up-dating their laser –knowledge both for clinical groups and engineering-technical groups. • Making practical training courses for attracting foreign keen people in the region. • Making and founding laser departments in all faculties in the country.

Research Group: • 1-Stablishing the central laser research center ,fully equipped with laser research equipment .(The foundation would be called “Javan laser foundation “ after the well-know Iranian professor’s name) • 2- Taking all efforts in transferring laser technology, making and distributing them in our country. • 3-Doing some research projects on animals both in in-vivo and in-vitro conditions. • 4-Determining laser research targets in the country. • 5-Creating researching poles and indexes in the middle-east and in the world. • 6-Making contracts for doing research with reliable universities in the world to have joint research projects. • 7-Making contracts for doing research in neighboring countries as an exporter of know-how in the near future. • 8-Making standards by approving researching thesis proposals in all faculties in the country. • 9- Determining laser research directions in the country, considering the facilities provided here and universal research directions. • 10- Providing national and leading researches among all medical, technical and engineering groups among • universities all around the country and all organization involved in health section of the country. • 11-Providing and performing a frame work for evaluating new lasers and issuing domestic license for each. • 12- Providing a frame-work for a scientific and laser research magazine with the cooperation of other groups. • (The magazine in going to be published in Farsi language.) • 13- Making a scientific and laser research magazine with the cooperation of other groups in English language.

Public and International Relations: • 1-communication making with university centers and increasing the laser knowledge in the people in charge of this centers. • 2-Communication with technical and engineering universities and some organizations like atomic energy which is responsible for making laser machines in the country. • 3-Commuication making with special dentistry associations. • 4-Holding domestic and international congress, work-shops and conferences. • 5- Communication making with international foundations like Maiman foundation and some foreign universities • Like Aachen ,… and some well-known universities. • 6- Making scientific cooperation contracts and exchanging information with reliable laser centers in the world for performing joint researches in dentistry (both in In-vivo and In-vitro) • 7-Making scientific cooperation contracts and exchanging information with reliable laser centers round the world to transfer the teaching of making laser and all related parts. • 8- Communication making with all state organizations and centers. • 9- Communication making with special associations likes WFLD, WALT, ESOLA, and ALD… • 10-Cooperation with Professor Javan foundation and attracting scientific and research cooperation • 11- Communication making with training centers in the world through • Tele-conferences, It training and on-line training.(E-learning ) • 12-Communication making with all domestic and foreign laser scientists and using their knowledge and experiences as well as cooperation with them.

Supervision on equipment and treatment affairs: • 1-Supervision on importing laser equipment and after market services in a frame work. • 2-Having harmony with the research group to approve the quality of equipment and standard making for importing and exporting the equipment. • 3-Supervision on clinical centers which are applying laser from equipment to safety and to training their staff based on international standards and domestic standards in the near future. • 4-Issuing license for eligible companies to import laser. • 5- Determining treatment red lines considering the existing standard to protect health in the society. • 6- Issuing license for eligible companies to make or manufacture laser in the near future. • 7- Making safety standards for laser making and manufacturing and treatment affairs and having frequent supervision on them. • 8-Being LSD (Laser Safety Officer) for holding safety courses.

13. Information and Publication group: • Making leaflets brochures and text books for public use. • Harmonizing and making programs pr making people aware correctly through radio and television. • Printing and publishing domestic text books (in Farsi) about laser. • Making a complete archive of reference books and magazines in this field. • Buying reputable and reliable magazines about laser in medicine and dentistry regularly. • Making a web-site in the internet and up-dating it regularly to give correct information to people frequently. • Publishing an educational and research magazine.

14. Financial group: • Providing financial support from state sources like Atomic Energy organization, the parliaments and etc. • Collecting funds for holding training courses for dentists and graduated specialist in 3-day courses three times in a year (primary, intermediate, advanced) . • Holding post-Doc and fellow ship courses for Periodentology ,Operative dentistry, Oral and Maxillofacial surgery , Endodantics, Pediatric dentistry . • Holding two-year specialist course for graduates. • Advertising for companies in leaflets, publications and the web site. • Sponsor shipping of domestic and foreign companies. • Collecting funds of domestic and foreign workshops and congress.
