Recruiting at Kellogg: Key Dates • Interview Reservation Submission Begins • May 11, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. CT • Event Reservation Submission Begins • Presentations/KNN/ Atrium Hour • June 1, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. CT • Interview Dates • Full Time: Oct. 18 – Nov. 19 • Internship: Jan. 24 – Feb. 25 • Reservations taken on a first-come, first-served basis online through the Career Management System. • Additional system training available on the website

  6. On Campus Recruiting:Decision Deadlines and Guidelines Student Decision Deadline Recruiting Guidelines Companies may only interact with each class (1st / 2nd year) through a CMC event once. Examples 1st year Presentation + 2nd year KNN 1st year only and 2nd year only KNN 1st year only and 2nd year only presentation 1 combined (1st and 2nd year) KNN or presentation For full recruiting guidelines please refer to our website • Second year decision deadline • If offer is from a student’s summer employer, must be given until December 1st or three weeks, whichever is longer • For all other offers must be given through January 14th • First year decision deadline • Student must be given until Feb 28th or one week whichever is longer • Students can always accept earlier, but should be under no obligation to accept earlier

Recruiting at Kellogg: Promoting Your Company • Presentations • We suggest a brief (20-30 minutes) formal presentation followed by Q&A/networking. • On- and off-campus options: • M-Th 5:15 p.m. (on- or off-campus) • M/W/F 12:15 p.m. (on-campus) • M-Th 7:00 p.m. (off-campus) • Kellogg Networking Nights • Receptions with up to 15 companies from a particular industry or group of industries in attendance • Recommended for Companies with Smaller recruiting goals • Multi-Industry, Consulting, Net Impact, Pharma/Biotech/Healthcare etc. • Atrium Hours • An opportunity for company representatives to meet with students on an informal basis in the Levy Atrium Dates are reserved through the Career Management System

Kellogg Career Management System For Employers: Overview • System used to make reservations, review submitted resumes, choose closed list, view schedules • Schedules: At least 30% of interview schedules must be open (students bid to interview) • 70% Closed / 30% Open • 50% Closed / 50% Open • 100% Open • 30, 45, 60, 90 minute options (standard or traditional schedules) • Back to Back: total number of schedules reserved must equal the total number of recruiters. Must be an even number, as the student will change rooms to another recruiter after the first 30 / 45 minutes • Final schedule confirmation 2 Business Days before On Campus Date • Students may swap, drop, or be promoted off the waitlist before that time

Log in here to access the Kellogg Career Management System (CMS). • If it is your first time accessing the system, you will be asked to input complete contact information. • On subsequent visits, you will need to enter your username, password and email only. Contact your Industry Relationship Manager if you do not know your company’s username and password.

  11. This is your Kellogg CMS homepage. Once there, scroll down to the links bar and click on Interview Reservations.

  12. Click “Add New Reservation” to link to the Reservation form

  13. Your contact information will default into the form.If you are entering the form but are not the main contact for this reservation, please change the contact information.

  14. 1 2 3 4 5 6 • 1. Indicate whether this reservation form is for full-time or internship interviews. • 2. Select the number of schedules you would like, not the number of interview slots. • 3. Please read all information on Back-to-Back schedules (text in red) prior to selecting this option. • 4. Select the Ratio of Open / Closed interviews. You would like. No schedule can be more than 70 percent closed • 5. Select your desired interview length. This will determine the number of interview slots. • All interviews begin at 8:00 or 8:15 but Standard types end one slot earlier than Traditional types. • If you are conducting Back-to-Back interviews, you must select 60- or 90-minutes • The interview length can be changed up until the closed list due date for your interview Round. • 6. Based on your Interview Type selection, only the Full-Time or Internship date preferences will be active. Though only one is required, we strongly suggest selecting three choices.

  15. When you have finished entering your information, click “Save.”You will have the ability to revise this form until you officially submit the request on or after May 11th

  16. You should see this message displayed after you click “Save.”

  17. You will be able to view and revise under the “Interview Reservation” tab on your CMS homepage until the reservation is submitted to the Career Management Center. The “Revise” link(s) on the right will change to “Submitted” after you have submitted your interview request(s). On May 11th at 11:00 AM Central time, you may access the Kellogg CMS and click “Submit All to CMC” to submit your reservations.

  18. If you click “Submit All to CMC” before May 11th at 11:00 AM Central time, you will receive the message above.

  19. On or after May 11th at 11:00 AM Central time, when you click “Submit All to CMC”, you will receive the message above.You have now successfully submitted your interview reservations for the 2010 – 2011 recruiting season!
