United Kingdom Regions: • Different Types of Regions: • Physical Regions: (Continents, Amazon, Rocky Mountains, Grand Canyon, Long Island) • Climate Regions: (North Pole, Sahara Desert, Himalayas, Andes Mountains) • Cultural Regions: (Latin America, Chiapas – Mayan Indian, Cherokee Nation) • Political Regions: (U.S.A., United Kingdom, Egypt, Greece, Italy) • Other Regions: (Military: NATO, Religion: Islam, Christian, Judaism) An area with common features that set it apart from other areas.   3. What is Culture? All the ways of life including arts, beliefs and institutions (family, government, religion, etc) of a population that are passed down from generation to generation.
