  1. Six Characteristics of living -Cellular Organization -Chemical -Use Energy -Surroundings -Grow and Develop -Reproduce

  2. Cellular organization Cellular Organization A little pieces of organism is called cell. Single celled organism is called Unicellular. And organism which is formed with a lot of cell is called Multicellular.

  3. Chemical The cells of living things are formed of chemicals. Most common chemical is water. There are some others like carbohydrates which is the main energy source of organism. Two other types of chemicals are protein and lipids which is used for building materials of cells. Finally, nucleic acids are the genetic material of cell which carries out genetic functions of life

  4. Energy Use • Organisms get energy and use it to digest materials. Metabolism is which organism build up or breaks down materials. And energy is always used when an organism has any movement.

  5. Surroundings • All organisms react to their surroundings , and environments and this is called stimulus. Stimuli contain in light, sound, and other factors. Organism reacts to stimulus with a response which is an action or change in behaivior.

  6. Grow and Develop • Like a person grows young to old, all living organism grow and develop. Growth is a process of getting larger, and development is a process of change that happens during organism’s life. As they grow and develop, organisms use energy and make new cells.

  7. Reproduction • Also one of the most important characteristic is reproduction. Reproduction is a producing an offspring that is similar to the parents. There are different ways to reproduce. Asexual production which involves only one parent and is identical to the parent. Sexual reproduction involves two parents and combines their genetic materials to produce a new organism.
